When I first started this journey and began doing research into potential breeders it was stressful and nerve wrecking! I talked to a lot of breeders and the overall process wasn’t very positive. Then I found Serenity Shiba kennel and I felt so lucky that I did! From the beginning to the end Yulia is so involved and so positive! She really makes sure that these babies are going to the right home and I appreciated the vetting process! She takes incredible care to make sure these pups are healthy and loved! I flew from out of state to pick up my dog but before that I got so many updates along with photos. Even after I picked up my puppy Serenity Shiba kennel would make sure that my new family member was adjusting and even was available to answer any questions I had! I really felt welcomed and for once my experience with a breeder was positive and overall exciting. I really appreciated the professionalism and warmness. I’ve had my dog for two years now and he’s the happiest pup! I am so happy I met and went with Serenity Shiba kennel!

Our breeder is exceptionally warm-hearted, professional, and deeply experienced with the breed. She understands every aspect of Shiba Inu—their temperament, health, behavior, and training—and carefully tailors resources to meet the unique needs of both puppies and adult dogs. Most importantly, she provided outstanding early socialization for our puppy. By the time we brought him home, he was already confident, well-adjusted, and had positive associations with the outside world and people beyond our family—something absolutely essential for Shiba Inu. She is also incredibly supportive and approachable. No matter when we reach out, she patiently answers our questions and offers valuable, practical advice. In short, she is not only an exceptional breeder, but also a true Shiba Inu lover who cares deeply for every dog she raises. When we visited Serenity Shiba Kennel last summer, we were so impressed with how well the pups were taken care of, they were so happy and healthy looking. Along with our pup, we were sent home with a starter bag that included a toy, some food, and a resourceful book, it was such a thoughtful gesture. I appreciate that we’re still in touch, most recently having a meet up for the puppy siblings, it was so fun to see them interacting with each other! Our Kenji has the sweetest disposition, he’s crazy yet chill haha, super affectionate, and loves all humans and other dogs, and is so handsome, he’s such a joy in our lives!
