At Serenity Shibas, we’re a small, family-run Shiba Inu kennel located on the peaceful border of Everett and Mukilteo—just 30 minutes north of Downtown Seattle, and about an hour from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Our passion for this extraordinary breed is deeply rooted in love, purpose, and dedication to quality over quantity.
Our journey began with a remarkable Shiba named Axel, who joined our family from Sandi Smith at Dragon House Shibas. With his arrival, our world changed—and so did our future. What began as a deep affection for one dog quickly blossomed into a lifelong devotion to preserving and celebrating this incredible breed.

At Serenity Shibas, we prioritize health, temperament, and breed integrity. Our goal isn’t to produce many dogs—it’s to raise a select few exceptional ones. We follow the Shiba Inu breed standard closely and carefully select breeding prospects based on temperament, conformation, and thorough health screenings, including advanced DNA testing.
We believe in purposeful, responsible breeding—not only to preserve the unique characteristics of the Shiba Inu, but to ensure each puppy has the best start in life. Our dogs are bred for both soundness and spirit, rooted in the Shiba’s heritage as an independent, intelligent hunter.

Raising Confident, Happy Puppies
All our puppies are raised in our home with daily hands-on care, early training, and rich socialization. From car rides to meeting new people and animals, we work hard to expose each puppy to the world, setting them up for smooth transitions into their forever homes.
Each placement is carefully considered. We screen prospective homes to ensure our pups are matched with families who understand and respect the Shiba Inu personality. Every puppy comes with a health guarantee, a lifetime of support, and a promise: If for any reason an owner can no longer keep their dog, they must return them to us. No exceptions.
